Welcome to my website! My name is Péter Kolarics. As a sole proprietor, whether it is renewable energy, improving the quality of life on rural homesteads, or helping dogs with epilepsy, my goal is to use my knowledge and experience to support those who turn to me.

1. Solar energy & rural homestead development

The energy of the sun is the future. Let’s bring 21st-century comfort to rural homesteads as well!!

Through rural development programmes, I help families living in the countryside modernise their homes. Whether it is providing clean drinking water, installing heat-pump heating systems or improving insulation, I can take care of the entire administrative process.

2. Foundation for Dogs with Epilepsy

Empathy, careful observation and reliable support in dealing with a widely misunderstood condition.

Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological disorders, and both canine and human epilepsy are surrounded by numerous misconceptions, instinctive fears and social stigma.

Few people realise that a seizure does not necessarily involve convulsions. In many cases, a momentary loss of awareness of the surroundings, purposeless movements (automatisms), dilated pupils or a vacant stare may also indicate an epileptic seizure (a non-convulsive seizure). At the same time, it is important to understand that just as some of history’s great minds, such as Da Vinci and Dostoevsky, lived with epilepsy, dogs with epilepsy can also live full and even exceptional, championship-level lives with appropriate treatment.

Through our foundation, I support my wife’s highly specialised professional and veterinary work. I provide the reliable background support: I handle reception, patient registration, documentation and banking matters so that 100% of the attention can be focused on helping the animals recover.

Nearly 50 years of experience – About me in brief

Throughout my career, one thing has always been at the heart of what I do: caring about people, building genuine relationships and focusing on solutions.

Entrepreneurial years (from 1983)

By 1983, I was already managing my own professional working group, and in 1985 I founded Favorit Ügynöki GMK, which I successfully managed until Hungary’s change of political system.

Private Animal Hospital (1990)

Following Hungary’s change of political system, in 1990 my wife and I opened a private animal hospital in connection with her veterinary profession, which we operated together for 22 years. Alongside this, I continued working enthusiastically in sales and as a commercial agent.

Ráckeve and canine epilepsy

When the veterinary practice closed, we turned our attention to my wife’s specialist field: treating epilepsy in dogs. We moved to Ráckeve, where we now help dogs suffering from the condition through a foundation. I take care of reception and administrative tasks.

The present: Rural Homestead Programme

Recently, I entered into a partnership with a solar energy company, which led me to the latest major chapter of my professional life. In line with the European Union’s objectives, I work to help people living on rural homesteads enjoy modern living conditions as well. I travel throughout the countryside and meet new people – and this work continues to energise me every day.
